Half Day Adventures

What you get

Half a day outdoor activities; either a morning or an afternoon session, this will focus on one activity, maybe kayaking, climbing, or coasteering. A half day activity session lasts 3-4 hours.

Upon meeting our friendly staff we will brief you on the session; what you can expect from us, and what we will expect from you. Next we’ll hand out all safety equipment.

When your all kitted up, and ready to go, we’ll have safety brief, and that’s it, you’ll be climbing, kayaking, coasteering or whatever outdoor activity you have chosen!

Do you have a group of 4 or more?

If so, we can tailor your own personal session on the date of your choice. We offer substantial discounts the more people you bring in your party. Also, our prices are any age; we don’t have an adult and child price.

A group of 4 – £50 per person

5 or 6 – £45 per person

6-10 – £35 per person

This price includes all safety equipment for the adventure session, all risk assessments, kit lists, and contact with us to ensure the best, most well organised session possible.

So, if you have a group of 4 or more, and would like to book your own private half day activity session, doing the activity you choose, when you would like to do it, please contact us.

Do you run sessions for groups of less than 4 ?

If it’s just you and your mate, or you and your partner, down on Anglesey for a outdoor adventure then we have an option designed specifically for people like you. We have “Open adventure sessions“. These half day adventures consist of a few smaller groups brought together to make a great day for everybody. Click the link to find out more.

Do you run sessions just for children ?

Why our Outdoor Educational programs Are So Good

A unique feature of Outdoor Active courses is the flexibility of our packages. We have designed 4 different packages; one of which will suit your needs and budget.

If you don’t have the chance to visit our beautiful activity centre in Anglesey, North Wales then we can come to you with one of our 1 day – “Team maker” visits

If you can visit us and want to sample some real adventure activities then come visit us on Anglesey, North Wales and enjoy one of our 1 day – “Quick immersion” courses

If you can come to us for longer and want to add a residential experience to your trip, but don’t have a whole week why not sample our “overnight initiative” which is a 2 day / 1 night course

If you have the time why not comes on one of our “Total Immersion” courses. These week long activity residential are the ultimate way to experience Anglesey, Snowdonia and North Wales.

We pride our self on offering courses that deliver measurable development through outdoor activities.

Outdoor Education courses are designed to meet goals set out in the Welsh Assembly Governments Physical Education in the National Curriculum document.

We also offer National Governing Body Awards. Examples of these are the Canoe Wales star tests. This mean the participant receives a nationally accredited award, which can be put in their record of achievement.

As well as having the relevant qualification enabling the instructor to run the activity session many of our coaches are also qualified teachers.

If not holding a PGCE many of our instructors and coaches hold degrees in other relevant fields.
